Perfluoroether rubber was developed by DuPont in 1968. The so-called perfluoro does not mean that the fluorine content is 100%, but it means that all molecular chains are C-F bonds, and there are C-H bonds in fluorine rubber. The characteristics of all perfluoroethers are:
