Wastewater treatment production process

According to the characteristics of wastewater quality and discharge characteristics, the treatment process can be divided into five parts: pretreatment, physical and chemical treatment, biochemical treatment, advanced treatment and sludge treatment. Among them, advanced treatment is the process that uses the most centrifugal pumps.

1. Pretreatment process

The wastewater is lifted to the inclined screen by the 1# catchment tank. The static inclined screen process is essential for the operation of the entire water plant before physicalization. The pump is unobstructed. Inclined screens are used to recover large fiber materials. In the treatment of papermaking wastewater, it is an important facility to remove suspended solids and reduce the processing load of subsequent treatment facilities. The intercepted fiber can be recycled for production after being collected.

2. Physical and chemical treatment process

Wastewater treatment is a systematic project, and efficient reactor design and reasonable process combination reflect the technological advancement and economic rationality of the project. There are many commonly used physical and chemical pretreatment methods, but the most widely used methods are precipitation and air flotation. The main characteristics of air flotation separation are fast separation speed, low sludge moisture content, small footprint, stable treatment effect, and wide application in papermaking wastewater treatment. In view of the characteristics of sewage with large water volume, high suspended solids concentration, and high insoluble COD and BOD content, the shallow air flotation process is basically used as the primary physical and chemical treatment process for wastewater.

3. Biochemical treatment process: aerobic treatment and anaerobic treatment

The biochemical treatment of wastewater is a biological treatment method that uses microorganisms to adsorb and degrade pollutants in wastewater under suitable environmental conditions. According to the different oxygen requirements of the bacteria used, the biochemical treatment can be divided into two categories: aerobic treatment and anaerobic treatment.

4. Advanced processing technology (focus on the fourth point)

After the secondary biochemical treatment, the remaining suspended solids in the effluent are biological flocs and non-agglomerated colloidal particles with a particle size ranging from 1mm to 10μm. Almost all of these particles are organic. 50%-80% of the BOD value of the secondary treated effluent comes from these particles. In order to improve the stability of the secondary treated water, it is necessary to remove these particles.

5. Sludge treatment process

The purpose of sludge treatment is to decompose organic matter, kill pathogenic bacteria and parasite eggs, stabilize the sludge, and use the resources in the sludge as much as possible. According to the actual situation of the wastewater treatment project, the thickening + dehydration process is generally selected to treat the sludge, and the stabilized and dehydrated sludge is transported and disposed of.
