The self-tightening seal is that as the operating pressure in the pressure vessel increases, the contact pressure between the sealing element and the top cover and the end of the cylinder also increases, thereby achieving a sealing effect. The characteristic of the self-tightening seal is that the higher the pressure, the greater the pressing force of the sealing element between the contact surfaces, and the better the sealing performance. When operating conditions fluctuate, the seal is still reliable. However, the structure is more complicated and manufacturing is more difficult. According to the deformation mode of the sealing element, the self-tightening seal can be divided into an axial self-tightening seal and a radial self-tightening seal.
