Wave springs and disc springs have the advantages of small axial size, high rigidity, and compact structure, but the axial displacement and spring force are small, and they are generally suitable for light mechanical seals with compact axial dimensions. Bellows are often used in special conditions such as high temperature, low temperature, and strong corrosion.
