The bellows is a sealing element that integrates an elastic element, an auxiliary seal and a torque transmission mechanism (ordinary seals do not have this kinetic energy), and its torque method is unique to the bellows mechanical seal. The end-face specific pressure is uniform, and it has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and good followability. The moving ring has no auxiliary sealing ring, thus reducing a leakage point and reducing the friction resistance of the moving ring.
Commonly used bellows have two types: pressed and welded. The pressed bellows is made on the press or by hydraulic pressure moulding by thin-walled tube elongation and forming; the welded bellows is made by the inner and outer circle welding of the film sheet (commonly used).
